Thanksgiving was wonderful, despite being on our own thanks to COVID-19 social distancing. We toasted things, had wonderful food, and shared our gratitude with one another. It was a quiet, odd, delightful occasion.
It lasted all of 10 minutes before the cats decided to muscle in on the action.
By this point, Stanley was frantic to get to the chicken. He didn’t even try to hide his thievery. Oscar, meanwhile, is hoping that no one noticed the big hunk by his feet just out of the frame.
We noticed, you little creep. We just let you have it because it’s Thanksgiving.
In our house, everybody eats on Thanksgiving.
