Oscar has a penchant for hiding things (usually bug carcasses or milk tops) under our rugs. When he does this, he performs a patented slither maneuver along the side of the rug before shoving the toy into position, like so.
In this case the payload was a milk top, which I’m glad for since I was so close. I’m sure the bug carcasses will reappear as spring gets underway and his hunting skills continue to improve.
