Oscar assumes sentry duty every morning, usually starting in the bedroom window so he can make sure the squirrels aren’t up to anything fishy.
He takes this duty very seriously since he was taught by Stan, the ultimate guard cat. He’s even learned to growl at suspicious sounds, so we now have a fuzzy squad protecting our house.
