Oscar decided to embrace his inner French girl this evening and pose for us in the window sill. Brian got his attention so I could get a picture without receiving a face full of pointy kitten. He’s a photogenic little monster and I love him. He’s growing bigger and cuter every day.

We had a busy day of housework and errands, but took time out this afternoon for some quality snugs. Oscar has really taken to snugging Brian whenever he gets the opportunity, and it makes me squee every time. This picture has it all: adorable ork, adorable kitten, and bonus toe beans. I am undone. <3

As he’s been feeling better, Oscar has started to morph back into Strong Independent Kitten. He’s exploring again, sleeping in different sunbeams, and spending more time doing his own thing. Oscar had another day of light play and good rest while I worked quietly in my favorite spot (a.k.a. the love seat). He’s taken up residence on top of the chair backs, alternating between mine and Brian’s, so he didn’t snug as much today, but when he did it was quality. He loves Brian’s beard

Oscar has had a much better day today. He woke up hungry and fairly spry, got a huge drink with his breakfast, and played with Stan for a while before napping on mom. He settled down for some hardcore sunbathing this afternoon and a lot more sleep, which is good for him since he still

Oscar is still having a tough time with the plague, so we hustled off to the vet this afternoon. He got a shot and some antibiotic drops, which he very much does not like. They already seem to be helping, though. He’s been moving around more and is sleeping better. We’ll update with progress tomorrow.

Housework happened today, which always includes vacuuming. None of us are particularly fond of the vacuum, because loud, but The Committee especially disapproves of the noise and general hubbub.
