CPotD #403: Rainy Snugs

The weather decided to turn cool and rainy this week, so we’re all wearing an extra layer. Oscar helped by joining me on the burrito blanket.

To help the cats celebrate our new digs, we bought them their own tower. Now we all have furniture! I’m still their favorite bed, though.

Like most cats, Stanley loves all things dairy. His love of cheese is fierce, and he realized years ago that he gets cheese when Brian cooks.

Udo uses his ears as a weapon to get what he wants (usually pretzels). Unfortunately, he also got himself an ear infection, so off to the vet.

Oscar loved Nutterbutter from the start. The feeling was less than mutual in the beginning, but they’ve bonded over time. Lately, it shows.

If we’d had any doubts about Stanley settling in, this picture removed them. He was sleeping like this, but woke up to chitter at us.

Oscar always runs to Brian when loud noises occur (vacuums, steam mops, mixers, etc.). The city trucks that run by our new place also qualify.

Udo likes his bed, but he’s a bit prissy about using it. He avoids it when he’s too warm, when feels contrary, and when Oscar usurps it.

The sliding glass door in our new kitchen sees quite a lot of traffic because of the high-quality sun beams it produces. All sun, no fights!

As promised, we took Udo out for his birthday donut last weekend. His rapt face and total focus indicate his happiness with this treat.
